The barrier is unaffected when attacks miss or when the shielded character performs perfect dodges. If the barrier receives an amount of damage greater than its remaining HP, then it is immediately destroyed and the character is inflicted with the excess damage. Kyrie Eleison is immediately canceled if the Holy Light skill is cast on the shielded character.
