Turn up the heat at Comodo's annual Popcorn Festa!

Every year in early summertime, the stars align boost the energy of fire. All over Rune-Midgarts, people celebrate this burst in fiery energy by gathering around large bonfires to tell stories, burning herbs over the fire for health, and other festivities. However, the people of Comodo noticed something unusual around this time of year - the dormant volcano at the island's center starts to awaken.

After some investigation, the people of Comodo discovered a migration of fiery monsters in Corodo, an island next to Comodo with its own active volcano. Their fiery energies combined influenced Comodo's own volcano, and it may erupt at any time! To stave off an eruption, the people of Comodo quickly turned their festivies into disaster aversion by driving off the monsters in Corodo and popping delicious seasonal popcorn using the heat from Comodo's volcano!

Head to Comodo to participate in the festivities!

Daily Quest

Requirements: Base Level 30
Location: Comodo (161, 177)
NPC: Dr. Corn
Frequency: Can be done once per day

Head to Comodo and find Dr. Corn. To introduce you to the festival, she'll send you on a basic quest - hunt down 10 Hot Imps and 10 Hot Explosions to drive off their fiery energy, and she'll give you 5 Golden Corn in return!

Hot Imps and Hot Explosions can be found in various fields and dungeons all over Rune-Midgarts, and Golden Corn can be used to pop popcorn. You can return to Dr Corn once per day to do the same quest and get the same prizes.

Golden Corn
	Golden Corn Sweet and juicy corn grown under the stars. It is perfect to make popcorn with. (This item will be deleted after the event.) Weight: 1

What to do with all the Golden Corn you've gotten from monster drops and running quests? Take them to the Popcorn Master, of course! What, did you think we'd let you pop it yourself? No, that takes a master. Bring your Golden Corn to the Popcorn Master, conveniently stationed next to Dr. Corn, to exchange Golden Corn and zeny for either Popcorn or Aromatic Popcorn.

For 1 Golden Corn, the Popcorn Master will pop it at Comodo's volcano which will get you anywhere between 2-30 Popcorns. The number is random each time, so keep popping to get more and more!

If you're tired of regular Popcorn, you can give the Popcorn Master 10 Popcorn and 1,000 Zeny in exchange for one Aromatic Popcorn. You can come to the Popcorn Master for Popcorn and Aromatic Popcorn as many times per day as you like!

Item	Description
	Popcorn One grain of white and scrumptious popcorn. It melts in your mouth. It will taste even better if made into a butter popcorn. Weight: 3 HP restored by about 175. (These items will be deleted after the event.)
	Aromatic Popcorn Savory popcorn made with butter and salt. There is plenty of it for the festival. Weight: 5 HP restored by about 800. It will be even tastier when you wear a festive costume. (These items will be deleted after the event.)

Corodo Memorial Dungeon

Requirements: Base Level 30, Party
Location: Comodo (264, 123)
NPC: Pakiha
Frequency: Can be done once per day

Are you ready to pay a visit to Corodo and chase off the monsters firing up the volcano? Find Pakiha on a pier in Comodo - he will tell you the story of Corodo and guide you to the volcanic island itself when you're ready.

Due to the strength of the volcano, you can only stay on Corodo for 10 minutes. If after 10 minutes you haven't reached the top of the volcano, you will automatically be warped back to your last save point.

If you want to be warped back to Comodo, remember to save your game in Comodo!

Additionally, if it's your first visit, Pakiha will give you a Costume Soda In Mouth whether or not you make it to the top of the volcano.

Before you head into the dungeon, you have the option of renting some gear from Joy Booster Yeon, who stands on the dock next to Pakiha. You can rent Disposable 3D Glasses Costume or Disposable Popcorn Hat Costume for 100,000 zeny per day.

Wear Costume Disposable 3D Glasses and Costume Soda In Mouth together to get Aromatic Popcorn Regeneration + 200% boost

To reserve your spot for the dungeon, click the Corodo Trip Sign next to Pakiha. Make sure you're in a Party, otherwise they will not let you onto the island. Select Application to Enter the Volcanic Island of Corodo first, and then speak to the sign again and select Enter the Volcanic Island of Corodo.

Once you're warped to Corodo, find Pakiha waiting for you up ahead with instructions. The bottom of the volcano is crawling with Drowsey Picky, defeat them all and Pakiha will tell you to go to the 2 o'clock direction of the volcano. Find his warp portal there to move up to the next stage.

The second level is full of Drowsy Imps. Make your way around the volcano and defeat them all while Pakiha opens up another portal for you. Once you've defeated all the Imps, head to the 5 o'clock direction of the volcano to spot Pakiha's 2nd warp portal, which will take you to the 3rd level.

The 3rd level is filled with Drowsy Explosions - watch out, and don't forget to pick up all the Golden Corn and Red Hot Marbles they drop, as you can use those to exchange for items and other boosts back at the Festival!

If you beat all the Drowsy Explosions, Pakiha will alert you to the Drowsy Salamander at the very top of the volcano. Defeat it to complete the dungeon! Once you do that within the 10 minute time frame, Pakiha will congratulate you and warp you back to Comodo (whether you saved there or not).

This dungeon can be completed once per day and has a time limit of 10 minutes each time. You will receive the Costume Soda In Mouth only once, after your very first time in the dungeon.

	Costume Soda In Mouth A cool and refreshing soft drink. Goes great with popcorn. Class: Costume Slot: Lower Weight: 0 Requires Level: 1 Usable By: All Jobs During the event period, ATK, MATK+ 30, ASPD+ 1 Equip Disposable 3D Glasses and Popcorn Hat together to get Infinite Speed Boost and Item Drop Rate + 15% (This item option will be deleted after the event.)

Extra Festival Features

One of the Popcorn Festival's traditions is to burn healthy herbs over a bonfire for a powerful boost to your health. Find Parti at Comodo (199, 136) to participate in their time-honored tradition!

Approach any of the Bonfires below Parti to find out more about them and the benefits they can grant you. Healthful Herbs used for the Bonfires can be found in the Magic Herb Bushes just outside the village.

You can change your Costume Soda In Mouth from Pakiha into an Equipment item with the Soda Changer NPC located in Comodo (257, 172). It costs 1 Costume Soda In Mouth and 300 Red Hot Marbles to perform the exchange. Red Hot Marbles are dropped by the Hot monsters all over the map as well as the Drowsy monsters in Corodo, so make sure you're picking them all up for this exchange! Additionally, once you change the Costume into Equipment, it cannot be changed back into a Costume.

After you change your Costume Soda In Mouth into an equipment, you can have it enchanted by the Soda Shaker NPC located right next to the Soda Changer.

• It costs 300 Red Hot Marbles to Enchant or Disenchant your item
• You must have Soda In Mouth equipped in order to be enchanted/disenchanted
• Soda In Mouth Enchantments have 100% Success, but a small chance to fail upon Disenchantment
• All enchantments given are random
• If you want a different enchantment, you must disenchant first before enchanting again

You can warp straight to Comodo from any of these Popcorn Festa Flyers located in major cities. For 1 Red Hot Marble, they'll warp you straight to the Popcorn Festa!
