Our story is told by both of us.

Kevin: Well, it all started back in late 2004, sometime in early November
or late September. At the time, I was an iRO drifter and a loner, wandering
from city to city and half-heartedly collecting EXP and loot, and still
getting over what remained of my first (and previous) relationship. Most
of my iRO friends had quit, and the few that hadn`t quit yet were on a long
      (and indefinite) hiatus.

Wiske: At the same time, after about one month of intensive training starting
from September, I was finally able to change jobs from a Swordie to a Knight!
My best friend Katie, my guildleader and some other people were there to
see me complete the job change, and Katie made a party named "Circle
of Close Friends". After I changed to knight, everyone had to leave
or do something else. So, I decided to go to South Prontera, my favourite
      hangout spot at the time.

Kevin: At about that same time, I had just finished some hunting for some
more zenny, and was hanging around outside the southern Prontera gateway.
That was when I saw this female knight come out of Prontera and sit down
      a few cells away.

      Wiske: That was me.

Kevin: *Laugh* I noticed her party name, "Circle of Close Friends",
and I couldn`t resist muttering through the chatlines, "You must have
      great friends".

Wiske: I was like, "Is he talking to me?" and when nobody answered,
      I quickly said "Yes!"

Kevin: I mentioned to her that most of my iRO friends were gone, and explained
that it was a very lonely thing in iRO to have no friends to party or have
      long conversations with.

Wiske: At the time, I felt that he was hitting on me. *Laugh* So I decided
to play it safe and keep my distance. "Well, there are like one or
two-million RO players out there. I`m pretty sure that you`ll find one or
      two friends sooner or later."

Wiske: ...But the way the little wizard made his reply secretly made a big,
      BIG impression on me.

Kevin: I asked her: "Couldn`t you be my friend?"

Wiske: And I (very surprised) answered, "Yes, I would be glad to be
your friend!" But yeah... It was waaaaaay past my bedtime already!
I added him to my Friends List, promised to PM him and then.. Time to snore.

Kevin: Over the next few days, we tried PMing eachother... with very little
success. Bad timing, busy schedules, mis-timed PMing attempts... It was
      a smackdown of unlucky fortune.

Wiske: The frequent response: "There is no such character name or the
      user is offline."

Kevin: After a few days, when I was feeling almost ready to give up hope
of ever being able to see her, I ran into her talking with a friend in Al
De Baran. I asked her, almost feeling incredulous: "Do you... remember
me?" She said, "Of course!" I was elated at finding a new
friend. We talked for a long while, sharing what we liked, and disliked,
and talking about lots of things in general. After that, we both went off
to the Toy Factory on a share party, looking for some EXP...

Wiske: In Toy Factory we actually didn`t level. We just sat and talked.
*Laugh* But then my mom and dad, who were divorced, were having a fight
again in front of the housedoor. I was panicking and felt like calling the
police, and I felt really awful. Kevin proved that he wasn`t such a random
person. Most people would`ve been scared of me while I`m panicking. But
he calmed me down. He told me that it was ok, and at that point I
realized that I could trust him.

Kevin: The next few days turned into weeks... and then months. We began
corresponding by e-mail, sending letters and asking how things were. At
the time, however, I was perfectly fine keeping the relationship platonic.
I wasn`t looking for a girlfriend, or some significant relationship. I was
looking just for a friend to spend good times and bad times on iRO with.

Wiske: Over these long days, we talked and talked a lot. I really liked
him, so one day while we were in Comodo, I said:

      "MARRY ME!"

Kevin: I was FLOORED. First it was "OH MY GOD." Then "OH
HOLY HECK." Finally, "HOW IN THE WORLD DID THIS HAPPEN!?"

Wiske: I had no idea that it would affect him so much. Looking back on it,
I think I was too... well, direct. I`m so sorry Kevin! But yeah, at least
he knew from then on how I felt. I was very, very glad that he didn`t turn
me down after that. No, from that moment, we had a relationship.

Kevin: I was shaken, but I managed to murmur, "Well... I don`t know
anything... and I can`t guarantee anything either... but I promise I`ll
do my best to make this relationship work... and that I promise to always
      be honest with you."

Wiske: I promised to be honest with him as well and also promised that I
also would try my best to make this relationship work. Since then, we`ve
      never broken our promise.

Kevin: For a while we took it very slow. I was still scared.

Wiske: I still wanted to marry him, but he said that he didn`t want to rush
things. That made me feel a little sad. But one day in Payon Cave, we talked
about it, and... Well, from then on, we were officially engaged! Yay!! <3!!

Kevin: To be honest, I had never expected anything like this to happen.
But looking back, I count myself fortunate, blessed, lucky... however you
might put it. I love her for who she is... and every day I spend with her,
both the good and bad times, I feel like I`m the luckiest man alive. I`m
not marrying her for a ball-and-chain, and I`m not doing so because of some
skills, or to brag about in front of other guys. I do it because... well,
to repeat the old cliche, I love her. Hopelessly so.

Wiske: And now, we`ve almost come to the end of our little lovestory. I
really, really love him, because.. I love him. I don`t love him for a "because"
in this love, and no "why" either. I love him. That`s why I love
him. I`m really lucky that I`m with this wonderful boy. And there`s nothing
else that I want more than marrying him.

      Kevin: ^__^

Wiske: Well... other than having his babies maybe ^^;;...

Kevin: *Jaw drops to the floor*

Wiske: Hehe, sorry dear. Kevin, I love you, and I want the whole world to
      know!!!

      Kevin: *A "/swt" and a "/heh"*. So do I... So do I.
