The Royal Hunt

The Royal Families of Rune-Midgarts cordially invite you to participate in their annual Royal Hunt! Every year as winter draws near, monsters descend from Mt. Mjolnir to prepare for hibernation. Along the way, they destroy villages and property, endangering everyone around. Thus, the Seven Royal Families have put together the Royal Hunt to call adventurers from across the land to participate in their hunting competition to help quell the monsters' numbers!

Hunting Quests

Requirements: Base Level 50
Starting Point: Hunt Guide NPC in Prontera (162, 76)

Begin by speaking to the Hunt Guide in Prontera. He'll tell you all about the history of the hunt, and will warp you to their camp grounds when you are ready.

Speak with Commander Nadezhda in Prontera Field (98, 171) to sign up for the Royal Hunt. They're only recruiting strong, capable adventurers, so he'll put you to the test before you can participate in any of the hunts. Hunt down 30 Insect Type Monsters and return to the Commander once your task is complete.

After completing the test, Commander Nadezhda will guide you to Deputy Officer Jan Ha-sung to start the monster hunting tasks. You will also be rewarded 10 Roses of Choice.

Rose of Choice
	Rose of Choice A rose that can be obtained by completing a hunting competition mission. You can use the item at [Hunting Ground] for voting or trading. If you use it, you will move to Hunting Ground, so be careful not to use it carelessly. (This item will be deleted after event.) Weight: 0

It's time to participate in the Royal Hunt!

Speak to Deputy Officer Jan Ha-sung in Prontera Field (108, 179) to receive a series of monster-hunting quests. Each quest can be completed once per day and can be completed by hunting monsters in any map. You can have as many active quests going at the same time, and when you complete them, report back to Deputy Officer Jan Ha-sung to receive rewards!

If you complete the daily hunting quests five times, you will receive a special reward hat from Commander Nadezda.

Event Rewards

After receiving Roses of Choice, you can trade them in with Deputy Officer La Finch for a chance to get cards or equipment. If you collect 100 cards of the same Royal Family member, you can exchange them with the Royal Family member for a better version of the card that grants special effects when equipped! You can find them at Prontera Field (72, 193).

	Regia Hunting Manteau The Manteau made by the Royal Family as a token of appreciation for hunters who excelled in the Royal Hunt. Class: Garment Defense: 9 Weight: 70 Requires Level: 50 Usable By: All Jobs FLEE + 15, increases Attack Speed (decreases After Attack Delay by 5%). Decreases physical damage and magic damage taken from Animal and Insect monsters by 7%. Decreases Variable Cast Time by 2% per 3 Refine Levels. When equipped with Regia Hunting Boots, ATK + 20, MATK + 20. If Regia Hunting Manteau and Regia Hunting Boots are at Refine Level 9 or above, increases Attack Speed (decreases After Attack Delay by 5%).
	Regia Hunting Mail The armor made by the Royal Family as a token of appreciation for hunters who excelled in the Royal Hunt. Class: Armor Defense: 25 Weight: 90 Requires Level: 50 Usable By: All Jobs MHP + 500, MSP + 100. Increases physical damage and magic damage against Animal and Insect monsters by 7%. MHP + 50 and MSP + 20 per 3 Refine Levels. When equipped with Regia Hunting Manteau and Regia Hunting Boots, decreases Fixed Casting Time by 7%. If Regia Hunting Mail, Regia Hunting Manteau, and Regia Hunting Boots are all at Refine Level 9 or above, decrease Variable Cast Time by 5% additionally.
	Regia Hunting Boots The pair of boots made by the Royal Family as a token of appreciation for hunters who excelled in the Royal Hunt. Class: Shoes Defense: 5 Weight: 50 Requires Level: 50 Usable By: All Jobs Increases Attack Speed (decreases After Attack Delay by 5%). Hit + 2 per 3 Refine Levels. When equipped with Regia Hunting Mail, increases Ranged Physical Damage by 7%. If Regia Hunting Boots and Regia Hunting Mail are at Refine Level 9 or above, increases Critical Damage by 7%.
