Maintenance Date Changes due to Holidays

November and December are months of celebration! And as expected some of those holidays fall on our maintenance days of Thursday. We will be having Maintenance on Wednesdays during those weeks, instead of on Thursday. We will always have someone here at the office, but we will be short staffed on those days due to the holidays.
  1. Wednesday November 10 Veteran's Day.
  2. Wednesday November 24 Thanksgiving Day.
  3. Wednesday December 22 Christmas day.
May your holidays are as full of happiness as we hope they will be!

ISP Maintenance November 2nd

On Tuesday November 2nd, 2010 our ISP will be having a ISP network maintenance from 2am-5am PDT. This is done to upgrade hardware on the ISP end.

During this time all of our network will be down including website, forums, and game. Servers will remain running however connection to them will be severed.

Tuesday's Day of Downtime

Starting in the morning of Tuesday October 26 all of our websites, forums and games became unavailable to the world. This was certainly not a planned happening. Our Data Center (where all the servers operate from) was cut off from the internet by Los Angeles street construction work, someone cut alot of very important cables. It wasn't just WarpPortal that was cut off from the world, it was a good chunk of internet that ceased to be. We know it took many hours for the issue to be resolved, and that many of you missed out on sorely wanted game play time.

We do regret this happening very much, and sincerely hope that the time lost can be made up this weekend by providing a few events to help you catch up with what you were wanting to do.

All accounts with active subsciption during the downtime will have 3 days of Premium added to their accounts.

Also begining 10/28 after maintenance we will be having an increased EXP event for all servers!

We would like to thank you all for your patience and hope you enjoy the events and bonuses!

Returning Heroes and Gift Subscriptions!

Welcome Returning Heroes!

We sent out an invitation to all our past adventurers to come back and see how the world has renewed. All fairly recent supporting accounts were credited 10 days game time from October 14 through 24th. But if you hadn't been an active account since before December 2009, you didn't get automatically included in that 10 day subscription. We can assist you in sampling Renewal if you read below.

From October 21 through November 4th, we are also going to give away a Free 30 Day subscription code to every account that purchases 30 day or longer subscription! We will email the codes on the next business day, to the WarpPortal email address of the account. You can redeem the code on one of your own accounts, or give it to a friend to come and join us on our adventure!

We certainly are looking forward to seeing you all again!

For assistance in getting your WarpPortal account tied to the RO Game accounts, and recovering passwords and so forth we would like to invite you to use our Ticket System (http://support.warpportal.com).

Tell us:
-What RO game accounts you had
-What email address they used (if you already tied the RO accounts to your WarpPortal then Kudos this will be easier!)
-What your Name is
-And Birthdate you put on the Game accounts.

*What we will do is verify the game accounts to be owned by you (using the information supplied)
*Tie them to your WarpPortal account (this will change the email address of the Game accounts to your WarpPortal email)
*We will also check to see if you had "expansion accounts" made with the merger we did in April. If you did we will character transfer the highest level characters from the expansion to the Main account.
*We will then put a free 3 day subscription time on the Accounts so you can give Renewal a try.

These tickets are some of the more time consuming Tickets we can get, but our goal is to set it up so you only send in the 1 ticket and when it is resolved it is resolved and you are back in playing.
