With the beginning of the year come web award contests. Last year Ragnarok Online was nominated for several categories in the MMOsite Reader`s Choice Award 2007. With your support Ragnarok Online won in a couple of categories. We greatly appreciate your support in that as it shows that all of you are still interested in the future of Ragnarok Online and still love playing.

With this year comes the MMOsite Reader`s Choice 2008 contest. People around the world are able to vote for their favorite Game and or company in various categories. Ragnarok Online starts with a handicap this year as the contest began several weeks ago, and ends on January 10th, 2008.

I look upon this as a challenge, last year everyone pulled together and we won our categories with panache.

This year we are eligible for three categories.

Happy Holidays Rune Midgardians! It뭩 that time of year, where giving gifts is just as much fun as receiving gifts. In celebration of this holiday season we are offering six gifts from the Gravity Team to you! -On December 26th, we will be setting both Seal 1 and Seal 2 on all servers to released (100% done) and seals 3 and 4 to 0. This means that seals 3 and 4 will be available on all servers to complete, and most likely any ready God Items will be created in short order. -On December 27th, several notable Monsters of Ruin-Midgard have become curious of our celebrations and have been invited into Prontera and other towns to celebrate with us. So gather your friends & family and help spread the joy, to not just one another but the Monsters as well. -With the Maintenance on Friday December 28th several gifts will be bestowed upon all the servers. The last WoE of the quarter and 2007 should be made more interesting. All castles will have the Economy and Defense set to 100. -To help the new year start off with a bang we will have 125% normal experience on all servers from Friday December 28th until January 4th. -Not to be left out of the festivities the Kafra shop Gals want to have an end of the year sale! Many Kafra shop items will be discounted. So stock up on the most fashionable headgear of the season at a discounted price! -And the final gift of 2007, we will again release Seal 1 and Seal 2 on all servers on December 31st.
