1. Definition

* The Ragnarok Online siege warfare is to obtain a Fortress and defend it with your guild.
* Large guilds that are active and has knowledge in guild warfare will start a battle differently as opposed to a small guild. Through small guilds, they will be able to enjoy siege warfare, revealing more possibilities in the game, being another feature.

2. Guildmates! Attack the Castle!!!

1) The guild obtains victory by breaking the Emperium inside a Fortress, gaining possession of the guild.
A compensation awaits the victors of the Fortress, so ally up with other guilds and attack the Fortress.
2) Users will be able to hold siege warfare 2 times a week. Siege Warfare will only take place at the specified hours.
3) Guild Skill "Guild Approval" is required to attend Seigefare.

3. Guild Skill Information

Receive a certification as an official guild of the Rune Midgard Kingdom.
Members in the official guild are authorized to attack an emperium of another
guild, who owns a guild territory.
Contract With Kafra
Sign a contract with the Kafra Headquarters, Al De Baran. Through the contract,
the guild can hire a Kafra employee for their territory.
Guardian Research
Study then technology of a Guardian. Through the research, the guild can hire
guardians for their territory.
Charisma
Guild master gains charisma through this skill. Master of Charisma can
increase the accuracy and flee rate of members in guild wars.
Guild Extension
Increase the maximum capacity of guildsmen.

4. New Features

1. Emperium" is the key to Victory.
The guild that breaks the Emperium inside the Fortress become the owners of that fort.

2. Keeper of the Fortress, Guardians.
The 3D Guardians will guard the Fortress from opposing guilds trying to infiltrate.

3. The Guild`s Symbol "Guild Flag"
In front of the Fortress, the Guildmarker will be there in form of a flag, bearing the guild`s
emblem.

5. Guild Castle Location

Prontera, Al De Baran, Payon, Geffen, each has 5 areas, for a total of 20 Fortresses.

6. Siege Warfare Rules

- Damage will not be shown.
- All Effects will be simplified.
- All Guild Emblems will appear over the characters head.
- Any Endure skill or items cannot be used.
- When a character is incapable of battle, he will return to last saved point and will not lose experience.
- Wizards will not be able to use the skill, Ice Wall.
- Skills that push back will not be in effect.
- Teleport and Fly Wing will be disabled. Only Butterfly will can be used.
- Phen Card`s "Casting Will not be Interrupted" option will not be in effect in the castle.
- Skill "Intimidate" will be disabled.

Retrieving the Emperium is symbolic for the guild`s fortress, it will not be affected by support magic,
but can only take damage from direct physical and magic attacks
.

7. The guild that hold a fortress will obtain special features.

1) The guildmates of Fortress holding guild will recover HP/SP at a faster rate inside the fortress.
2) The guild can manage the fortress through a manager or they can hire a kafra storage staff/merchant.
3) Also, once a day, there is a chance of being able to obtain an item that cannot be found elsewhere.

8. How to manage fortress
The guildmaster will use the NPC manager to manage affairs
of the guild and the fortress.
View Fortress Status
Enables to view status of the entire fortress.
Trade Investment
Investing in the trading aspect of the fortress will raise the commerce.
Trade Investment of the Fortress in a specific item volume will be affected.
Defense Investment
Investing in defense will also raise defense of the Fortress. Defense is effected
by the defense strength and HP of the Fortress`s Emperium. It also effects the
Guardian`s HP.
Establishing a Guardian and Maintenance
The guardian that guards the fortress can defend/repair from inside the
fortress. Once a guardian is established, the job of a guardian`s defense of the
fortress against other guilds become noticeable.
Hiring Storage Staff
This allows you to hire/dismiss Kafra. Guildmates will be able to use storage
without being charged for the services.
Enter Master`s Room
It is a room that exists inside the fortress, which only the guild leader can enter.
Inside this room, you follow the developmental degree of the guild, and once a
day a rare item will appear.

| Island of Illusion, Comodo |

Comodo is a beach located at the far south region of Rune Midgard Kingdom. To get there, you have to go through a wild marsh area, across a large river and a giant cave where aggressive monsters reside in. Due to the local region, the sun does not shine in Comodo. You will be dazed by the glow of the blue moon, and drawn in by the enchanted night life in Comodo. So be prepared to see the beauty and be amazed by the excitement Comodo has for you.

- Swordman
* One handed Sword Mastery damage has been reduced from 5 to 4 per skill lvl..
* Two Handed Sword Mastery damage has been reduced from 5 to 4 per skill lvl..
* Fatal Blow, Fatal Blow, an additional skill for the Swordman class.
Once the user has learned lvl6 or above Bash, there will be a chance the monster will become stunned when using Bash.
* SP use of Provoke skill has been modified, and the ability to use different levels of the Provoke skill has been implemented.

- Knight
* Spear Boomerang
- Property change from Ghost to Neutral
- SP use has been modified to 10.
- 1 second delay occurs after the use of the skill.
* Counter Attack
- Unmovable for the skills duration.
- Skill Use Icon is shown on a player`s screen for the skills duration.
- Attack type has been modified from perfect critical attack to the normal attack that can pierce DEF of enemy.
Since it becomes the normal attack, enemies can dodge the attack, [DEX ~ MATK] formula is applied on the attack strength.
* Bowling Bash & Brandish Spear
- 1 second casting delay has been implemented. DEX affects on the casting delay, these skills can not be dispelled even if the caster`s hit by monsters while casting. However DEF which gets affected by current equipments is reduced into 2/3.
- 1 second delay occurs after the use of the skill.
* Bowling Bash
-SP use has been modified as below.
* Two-Hand Quicken
- Attack speed increment has been reduced from 50% to 30%.
- SP use and skill lasting time have been modified as below.
* Spear Stab - The range of Spear Stab has been modified into 4 cells.

- Archer
* Double Strafe - SP use of Double Strafe has been reduced from 15 to 12.
* Arrow Shower
- The range has been increased from 9 cells to 25 cells.
- Enemy hit by Arrow Shower is forced back by 2 cells.
* Improve Concentration - Skill duration has been modified.

- Hunter
* Flasher
- SP use of Flasher has been reduced from 20 to 12.
* Sandman
- SP use of Sandman has been modified into 12.
* Freezing Trap
- SP use of Freezing Trap has been modified into 10.
* Beast Bane
- Beast Bane damage has been modified into 4 per skill lvl, also the property has been modified to affect Brute/Insect type monsters.
* Ankle Snare
- Skill duration is affected by AGI of the target. However it won’t be reduced less than the minimum duration 3 secs + [ Additional duration by the caster`s lvl].
- All items are usable even when being trapped by Ankle Snare. Fly Wing, Butterfly Wing, Teleport skill also can be used.
- SP use has been modified from 10 to 12.
* Skid Trap
- SP use has been modified from 5 to 10.
Shove range of the skill has been increased from 6 cells to 10 cells when the user masters the skill.
- Change of Trap(Hunter skills) & Fire Pillar(Wizard Skill)
- In PVP zone, everybody can step on traps and fire pillars. Even the casters can step on those.
- For invisible traps, the players who spotted the traps being installed on the ground will be able to detect them as usual ones. But when the players go out of the screen and come back, they won`t be visible anymore. Only the casters of invisible traps can see their traps. In the meantime, if anybody detect those invisible traps using a detecting skill, other players with the person at the moment can view the traps
- Every trap has been implemented to need 0.4 installation dely before working.
- Fire Pillar doesn`t need any casting delay time more than it used to do.
- Traps and Fire Pillar cannot be installed on cells where players or monsters reside.
- Traps and Fire Pillar cannot be overlapped with other traps/ Fire Pillars on the same spot or in the range of previous traps/Fire Pillars( 3 * 3 ).
- Traps/Fire Pillar won`t work for whom used to be in the rage of those skills at the moment they are being installed, unless the players go out of the range and come back. However if some other players come and install another traps of splash damage property near the users, they will get damaged by the skills.

- Casting time has been reduced from 1 sec to 0.8 sec.

- The range has been modified into within 2 cells.
* Safety Wall
- Cannot be overlapped on a single cell.

- Cannot be cast more than 3 times in a row.

* Fire Pillar
- SP use of a skill has been reduced from 35 to 25.
- Skill duration has been fixed as 30 secs apart from skill lvl.
* Storm Gust
- Every time the storm gust initiates damage on enemies,
a a delay of 0.45 sec occurs between attack. (Maximum attack of a storm gust :10)
- An amount of damage gets increased by skill lvl of the caster.
- Monsters except Boss, Undead get frozen by the skill when they receive damaged more than 3 times by the skill.
* Soul Strike
- Delay after a cast gets reduced by 0.3 when the caster masters the skill.

- Damage increment & Accuracy increment has been increased from 1 to 2 per skill lvl.

- By skill lvl, Poison React increases the damage of Venom Splasher.
* Venom Splasher
- Players don`t get poisoned by the skill except in PvP zone.
- Poisoning chance has been increased from from 1/3 of monsters HP to 2/3 of monsters HP.
- Change of SP use and base ATK
- Formular for the final ATK: Basic Venom Splasher ATK + Support Damage added by Poison React (Max 600%)
- 25% splash damage on 3*3 cells around the target of Venom Splasher has been implemented.
- Casting time has been changed into 1 sec.
* Cloaking
- Can be used at the edge of the walls.
- Range has been limited to 1 cell from the wall.

- SP use of a skill has been reduced from 15 to 12.

* HP Recovery While Moving
- Type : Passive Skill
- Description : Restore HP even while moving. However the amount of HP recovered by the skill is about 25% of the one while standing. Regular HP Recovery doesn`t affect the skill.
* Fatal Blow
- Type : Passive Skill
- Description : When casting lvl 6 Bash or above, this skill causes stun effect by chance. (Chance by Bash lvl is listed on the skill balance information.)
* Berserk
- Type : Passive Skill
- Description : Initiates lvl 10 Provoke automatically when the user`s HP gets lower than 25%. This status is canceled when the user`s HP goes up more than 26%. Also this skill doesn`t have any specific duration, (that is, if the user can keep the HP amount lower than 25%, the Provoked status will last.) but when someone hits the user using certain skills that cancels Provoke, this status will be canceled immediately.

- Description : Create arrows out of specific items. The numbers of the arrows and its property are randomly decided.

- Description : Thrusts an enemy 6 cells back when attacks. This skill requires a casting delay and cannot be dispelled in the mean time.

- Description : Only usable when the user equips a cart. Hits an enemy hard using the cart. The weight of the cart affects the attack strength, the attack does Splash damage on other enemies within 6 cells around the target. Also those enemies are shoved back 2 cells.

| Change of Abnormal Status |

- Poison

- When poisoned, HP/SP recovery skills become inactivated.
- Every poison skill possess the same effect. ie Envenom, Enchant Poison.
- Duration has been implemented. Used against monsters, the maximum duration of the poisoned status is 30 seconds. LUK and VIT of the target determines the duration. For players, the maximum duration is 30 seconds, the minimum duration is 5 seconds. Just like the case of monsters, LUK and VIT of the player determine the duration.
- The amount of damage taken while being poisoned has been changed.
- The amount of HP while being poisoned or stone-cursed will not go below than 25% of MHP.
- On the previous version of Ragnarok Online, DEF and ATK were decreased by 25% at the same time when being poisoned. By the comodo patch, only DEF is decreased by 25% when being poisoned.

- Frozen

- While being frozen/ in sleep/ stunned/ stone-cursed, all characters including monsters can not dodge.
- While being frozen/ stone-cursed, MDEF is increased by 25%, DEF is decreased by 50%.
- Lex Aeterna and Steal cannot be applied onto characters of being frozen or stone-cursed. When characters get frozen or stone-cursed even after being casted by Lex Aeterna and Steal, those previous skills are canceled immediately.
- While being stone-cursed, the property of the target temporarily becomes the earth property.

- Sleep

- While being frozen/ in sleep/ stunned/ stone-cursed, all characters including monsters can not dodge.
- While sleeping, the chance of being attacked by Critical attack will be doubled.

- Blind

- While being in blind, Accuracy rate and flee rate get decreased by 25%.

- Stun

- While being frozen/ in sleep/ stunned/ stone-cursed, all characters including monsters can not dodge.

- Hiding

- Only magic skills which target the ground can attack characters including monsters while they`re hiding. If a user hides oneself while being locked-on by certain magic skill, the skill gets inactivated as soon as the character hides.

The attack aspects of the skills may change as well, but the focus will be to add more elements of fun to the game through these Monster skills.
Things such as monsters` dialogues or emoticons, a Pupa changing to a Creamy or a Smokie pretending to be a player, subordinate monsters summoning boss monsters, etc will be added.
These plans are still undergoing development so they have not been finalized
Why monsters are overusing player skills?
The current monster skills implemented on the Sakray are not complete as a system or in the way the skills are being used.
There are many bugs to be tested and fixed, and other functions are still in
the process of development.
Also, because there many of the originally planned monster skills are still being
developed, Monsters` skills and the variety will change.
The direction of monster skills in the future?
1. Edit the current balance, and allow players to be able to counter the monsters` attacks without too much trouble and
2. Find the skills that best fit each monster, with the new monster skills, make it so that the player will be able to enjoy what the monster does when it is about to use a skill.

A part of Juno, the forgotten era (Ragnarok Episode 5) has been implemented.
Juno Town, dungeons, fields have been added.
Monster placement in fields, and dungeons have been changed.
2nd alternative (or 2-2) jobs have been implemented.
Cute Pet status windows have been upgraded with cute pet illustrations.
Guilds cannot attack the emperium in an allied guild castle, and allied guilds cannot attack each other during siege time.
During a castle siege, if guild A is in guild B’s castle and both A and B guilds allie together, guild A will immediately be removed out of the guild castle and return to their save points.
During siege time, magic attacks will cause less damage to players.
During siege time, ranged attacks will cause less damage to players.
During siege time, Guardians and the Emperiums will not be affected by skills that push them back.
During siege time, players who have been killed will not receive damage for 10 seconds.
During siege time, Traps will last 4 times longer then normal.
Treasure Boxes in guild castles will not be affected by the Steal skill.
Item descriptions have been modified.
Elder Willow and Scorpion have been changed to aggressive monsters.
Stats of certain monsters have been updated.

Certain Book weapon strengths have reduced but have increased in slots.

Attack speed of Knight has increased when using two handed axe and two handed mace.
Attack speed of Thief has increased when using bow.
Attack speed of Priest / Acolyte when using bare hands has been changed to the same as other classes.
Attack speed of Blacksmith has slightly increased when using a mace.
Attack speed of Wizard has slightly increased when using dagger or rod.

( So far, only the range shown in the user screen has been reduced and the decrement does not affect on the skill duration or range)
Undead monsters will collapse on the ground when they have taken a great amount of damage.
( For instance, when a character cast Lex Aeterna on an evil druid and kills it with Turn Undead, the evil druid showed nothing. But from now on, the evil druid will collapse on the ground when dead and the damage it has taken will display on screen correctly. )
Players can purchase Glistening Coat Creation Guide and Condensed Potion Creation Guide from the Alchemist Guild.
Item Upgrade NPC will express emotions.
MVP system has been upgraded.
A character who does the second most damage can pick up items after 10 seconds, third character can do after 20 seconds and other characters can pick up MVP items after 22 seconds.
Effects for passive skills such as HP and SP recovery have been added.
PvP areas; Hunter class characters will have a chance to be frozen by their Freezing Traps.
Party members can pick up items when they hunt together regardless of the amount of damage they do.

When being cursed, the moving speed of character will be decreased and damaged by the skill. Blessing or drinking a holy water will cure the character from curse.
The weapon level of Fortune Sword has been updated from level 3 to level 4.
The description for SP consumption for the Meteor Storm skill has been corrected. (Previous 30~74 -> Correct 20~64)
