Unknown Dimension: Introducing the Hall of Abyss An eerie sound can be hear from within the castles of Rune Midgard...

Rune-Midgard scientists were dispatched to investigate the strange sound, only to find dimensional cracks that lead to an alternate plane of existence deep within the castle. Always curious about paranormal phenomena, the Cat-hand agents have offered to help maintain the dimensional cracks which lead to what is now known as the Hall of Abyss.

After heated debate between the Rune-Midgarts Kingdom and Cat-hand agents, it was decided that the Hall of Abyss will be open to the cities that contribute the most to an investment fund...

War...War Sometimes Changes*

The number of castles per realm has been reduced to four. Available castles: [Valkyrie Realm], [Balder Realm], [Britoniah Realm], and [Luina Realm].

Cat-hand agents have been deployed to realms and individual castles to collect investment during a specific period of time after WoE has ended.

Treasure box Upgrade Acquired after successfully conquering a castle. The contents of the guild treasure boxes have been updated.

God item components update: Components that were unique to a castle can now be found on any castle.

The first and second levels of guild dungeon are PVP disabled, but the Hall of Abyss will be a PVP zone.

Investment Mechanic

Players can invest a minimum of 10,000 zeny and a maximum of 2,000,000 zeny. Players can check the total level of investment and how much each holding guild has invested by checking a

Players that aren't affiliated with a castle holding guild can invest by speaking with Cat-hand agents in each realm.

The Hall of Abyss opens when the 70 mil minimum amount is reached, though if the total investment does not meet this number, the Hall of Abyss will open on the realm with the highest total investment.

The investment period begins one hour after WoE(1) has ended, and ends 2 days later. If enough investments have been made, the second guild dungeons and Hall of Abyss will open. They remain open until 1 hour before the next WoE 1 occurs.

Ymir/Yggdrassil
  • WoE 1.0 Wednesday 3-5
  • Investment Period Wednesday 5:30pm-Saturday 5:00pm
  • Abyss Gate access begins at Saturday 5:30pm

Valkyrie
  • WoE 1.0 Saturday 3-5
  • Investment Period Saturday 5:30pm-Tuesday 5:00pm
  • Abyss Gate access begins at Tuesday 2:30pm

Investment benefits!

Guild Dungeon Access: The guild dungeon has a new second level added on, that can be opened up as described above. It has tougher monsters waiting within, with bigger rewards. If a realm successfully opens up their local Hall of Abyss, the first two levels of guild dungeon in that realm opens up for anyone to enter for a fee.

For each 10,000z that is invested, players receive 1 Investment Ticket and random gifts. The tickets received can be used to purchase supplies from Special Vending machines on the realm map.

A number of new items have been added with this update, including useful new gear that can only be used during PVP/WoE!
