Here is a new contest that can yield fame, fun and a SHIRT!
Contest Premise : Create a Ragnarok Online shirt with a Summer theme.
Period: 3 weeks starting on a Tuesday to submit Shirt Designs to Cameesa for inclusion in the event.
Tuesday June 23 9am CST – July 14 6pm CST 2009.
We are excited to announce a new contest and opportunity for all our players! The chance to create Ragnarok Online themed t-shirts and have them printed by our Community on
www.cameesa.com/ragnarok! If you are an artist, design a shirt and share your love of Ragnarok with the world. If you are like me, and are not artistically gifted, crowdfund (see definition below) your favorite Ragnarok designs to become printed!
How does Crowdfunding (aka. supporting) work?
• Crowdfunding is: showing financial support for all of your favorite t-shirt designs. For example, you can place $10 of “crowdfunding sponsorship” on as many shirt designs as you want, and the first design that reaches a $500 “printing threshold” will be the t-shirt that gets printed.
Prize :
- The members who help crowdfund a design will receive ongoing dividends of Tee sales, and a Tee of the design they crowdfunded.
- Artists will receive $250, a Tee of their design, and will earn dividends on Tee sales of their design.
Example of Crowdfunding :
• Here are 3 tees that are in the crowdfunding process:

• I put only $10 in my account, and crowdfund all 3 shirts. I can’t lose no matter which gets printed first because it is a shirt I want, at a discount!
After I Crowdfund my $10 dollars into 3 shirts at once:

$450 crowdfunded $430 crowdfunded $480 crowdfunded
+my $10 +my $10 +my $10
$460 crowdfunded $440 crowdfunded $490 crowdfunded
• Later that day, another member crowdfunds shirt C for $10 Dollars, putting shirt C at the Printing Threshold of $500.
Once $500 is reached on Shirt C, then the following happens: Shirt C goes into print and Shirt A&B are decremented to their original amounts:

• Your $10 dollars that you put down on those 3 shirts actually gets “spent” on Shirt C, as Shirt A&B are decremented to their original amounts. At this time, you begin earning dividends on sales of Shirt C, and also receive Shirt C in the mail.
You can get tees at a low price of $10+shipping by crowdfunding them, or you can wait until they are available in the Shop Section and buy them for $18+.

Design Rules for Artists:
• Follow Cameesa design rules and submit on http://cameesa.com/submit
• For the purpose of this event, Gravity Interactive, Inc. grants limited license to use Characters, NPCs, Monsters, and Map themes for the shirt design to the participants of this event.
• The Ragnarok Online Theme for this event is: Summer!
• Be sure to show Characters and Monsters of Ragnarok having a great time in a summer atmosphere!
• Focus on the Pictures and not on Text, text is not as visually appealing for a shirt design
• Every 2 days, all approved shirts which are submitted during the prior 2 days, will get listed simultaneously and placed in the Special Ragnarok Online Section of the Cameesa website (http://cameesa.com/ragnarok) for the world to see and sponsor via crowdfunding.
• Gravity Interactive, Inc will be participating actively in the crowdfunding to help get the great shirts printed faster, plus we here at the office want some more Ragnarok Themed T-shirts for our own personal use as well!
• Be sure when you wear your shirt out and people ask you “What is that from?” you invite them to join your adventure on Ragnarok Online and the Tshirt is from Cameesa!
